The Roundhouse
Repurposed

Built in 1887 as a Michigan Central Railroad steam locomotive repair shop, the newly renovated Roundhouse is now home to a variety of high-tech businesses.

Our custom made 12’ X 16’ hinged door systems are an engineering marvel. Each door is able to fully open mimicking the movement of the large locomotive machines that used to be repaired in the building.

On the south side, the building has 5’ X 14’ fully operational single hung windows built with traditional weight and pully balance systems.
