Kellogg’s Building

The Kellogg’s Building is one of London, Ontario’s most recognizable historic industrial landmarks. Built in 1912 as a cereal manufacturing facility, it played a key role in the city’s industrial development. Its scale, masonry construction, and original window openings remain defining features of the building today.

The building has since been repurposed into a mixed-use destination, maintaining its historic character while accommodating new commercial and hospitality uses.

The Synergy Group, through its SynComm brand, manufactured custom replica steel window systems designed to match the proportions and sightlines of the original steel windows while delivering modern thermal and acoustic performance.

Within the revitalized complex, SynComm manufactured large exterior window systems and French casement windows for the Hard Rock Hotel. For the Beer Kitchen, SynComm also manufactured custom windows, doors, and a proprietary lock-box door system developed by Synergy from concept through manufacturing. This system allows for narrow stile and rail profiles while maintaining a strong locking mechanism, increasing glass area and bringing more natural light into the space.

Each system was designed and manufactured to integrate cleanly into the existing architecture, reflecting our approach to adaptive reuse: preserving historic intent while delivering modern performance.
